3d printed indoor / outdoor hydroponic vegetable and herb growing tower with 8 - 3 growing cups. This tower is matte blue and has a white base pot (note: base pot is not 3d printed and plants are not included) the tower fully assembled stands at 31 tall and just over 10 in diameter. The base pot holds almost 2 gallons of water. This kit includes a pump, a timer which can be set in increments of 15 minutes, 8 3 net pods with label stakes and a cleaning brush. Assembly is quick with just a few steps.
All you will need to add is the growing medium of your choice, seeds, water, and nutrients. If growing indoors you may need to add a light depending on how much sun you receive. While i hope you love this item, in the unlikely event that you do not you'll have 60 days to try it out and send it back. All i ask is that you save your box for the return if you can. If you're unfamiliar with 3d printing here is a quick overview. The 3d printers used for these towers are fff, fused filament fabrication. A small layer of plastic is printed at a time building the model from the base up using a roll of pre-colored filament. Due to this process, there may be slight surface or color irregularities. You'll also see the print lines and seams.Following the printing process models are cleared from any support structures needed and wiped clean. The towers are printed using pla resin which is not dishwasher safe, but can be washed using regular dish soap and luke warm water. Excessively hot temperatures may cause warping which could cause improper component fit. I can't guarantee that you'll be able to grow a bountiful harvest as every growing situation is different.
My goal for this tower was to develop a small counter / tabletop design that looks good as well as functions for a reasonable price. I designed the tower sections to collect all the water above at each level and then direct it to the cups on that section.
This slightly reduces noise when the pump is running. This item is made of pla and polypropylene.
