This is a unique bracket designed to support a roof skirt beam which attaches to the floating end of a ridge rafter. It is made to fit 2.0" thick rafter and 2.0" thick roof skirt members. The 3-12 pitch roof rafter skirt tie bracket is designed to attach to the bottom and side surfaces of the ridge rafter and provide one u-channels at a precise angle to hold a roof skirt beam. Repair damaged, unsightly, and ignored roof skirts to give new life to your roof edges.

Use these brakckets to add new 2.0 size roof skirts to 3-12 pitched roof edges which have 2.0 thick rafters, add new drip edges to bring your shed, garage, home roof up to standard and provide clean appearance. This kit includes 5 - brackets and lag screws. This kit includes five (5) roof skirt brackets and lag screws. These brackets are cleverly designed to hold the roof skirt securely and free up your hands to drive the lag screws and nails. This is a true diy part which allows one person to add and assemble all roof skirt beams.

The 3-12 pitch roof rafter skirt tie bracket attaches to the rafter's bottom and side surfaces using four (4) 1/4" x 1-1/2" lag screws. The high strength design of this bracket holds the roof skirt beams securely.

This bracket has an upward facing open u-channel to easily receive 2.0 thick roof skirt beam. Each roof skirt beam is secured to the bracket's u-channel with three (3) 1/4" x 1-1/2" lag screws and two #10d x 3 nails. Included are five (5) 1/4" x 1-1/4" lag screws per bracket to complete the job. Don't forget that you will have to drive 10d x 3 nails to secure the top of the roof skirt beams to the rafter's end.

These 10d nails are not included. This bracket is constructed from 1/8 thick high strength steel. This bracket is painted black and may be spray painted over with any desired exterior-grade paint color. This item is made of steel and paint.
