(step 1) - 24 hour soak w/ gypsum. (step 2) - 15 minute simmer. (step 3) - 60 minute dry off.

(step 6) - seal bags w/ flowhood. Many people take shortcuts to speed up their production. Many use "no soak" or "no simmer" tek. Patience + care phenomenal results. Just bring your own (clean) spores/culture.
