Verified successfully cultivated indoors chicken of the woods (laetiporus sulphureus strain). Substrate used was hardwood fuel pellets + wheat bran. Fruiting condition same as oysters.

The trick is to force the mycelium to grow up toward the filter patch and then spray the patch with water to encourage the mycelium to penetrate the filter patch and form a fruiting body. Storage: can be left at room temperature for up to 6 months, and refrigerated for longer than 1 year.
