Cordyceps militaris liquid culture that has been expanded one time from mother culture. Extra care must be taken with this species. Refrigerator must be used for storage of up to 6 months for maximum viability. After 6 months you may see signs of degradation and senescent properties such as mutated fruiting bodies or lack of pigmentation on fruiting medium. It is recommended that you minimize expansion to prevent excessive replication.

One syringe will be good for expanding no more than 1 gallon of liquid culture. Do not use agar plates for any reason other than to check for contamination. The easiest way to grow cordyceps militaris: uncle ben's ready rice.
