Custom victorian style greenhouse with sparkling sun-catchers. Drawings and instruction are in imperial inches and ft.
The dimension for this greenhouse is 96 (2438 mm) long, 81 (2057 mm) wide and 93 (2362 mm) high. You can create your own unique sun-catcher greenhouse based off my instructions and photos. There are over 30 drawing plans that coincide with the accompanied step by step 40 pages of instruction and 190 photos that match the instructions.
The instructions will have the material list needed. The drawings will include your saw cut list to simplify the building process down to a step-by-step approach.
Tools: the instruction include how you build the windows and doors so you should have a pocket hole jig kit for making frames (they are relatively inexpensive and easy to use). There is a lot of wood to cut. So, i recommend a miter saw with the ability to cut at 45 degree angles and a level platform extension to hold the longer boards up. And of course, i recommend a battery operated drill and a jig saw. These are all common tools you can pick out from a local hardware store. You do not need a fancy setup to build these greenhouses. They are not that difficult to build but it does take time especially since we will be working with epoxy sun-catchers. Features of this greenhouse include. # natural ventilation from windows on all sides. # easy to attach shelving on the sides, back and corners. Hang plants from the rafters. # steep roof slope keeping the snow from accumulating and staying. # a solid door with the top half screened along with a hinged window. # small footprint in size that makes it ideal for any size yard.Create your own charming greenhouse just like in the photos, it is a great starter or make it the ideal center piece for your existing garden. As for the plans, i opted not to go the more expensive route with time consuming auto-cad drafting plans.
One reason is you do not need them. Your plans are hand drawn just like in the old days before computers were available.
