Apply silicone: apply a bead of silicone around the downspout's end and attach the endcap adapter. Press firmly into place to ensure a tight seal, then wipe off any excess silicone. Allow 24 hours for curing before use. To connect 1/2" pex pipe: cut and deburr 1/2" pex pipe ends to protect the o-ring gaskets.
