Lid variety info: standard metal lids, limited reuse rust-prone, replaceable sticker filter patches, self healing injection port. Pint-sized grain spawn jars with whole rye berries enriched with gypsum and soaked for 24 hours, hang-dried, jarred and sterilized in pressure cooker at 15 psi for 90 minutes. Includes the updated, custom plastic, aluminum or metal lids. Includes replacement foam filters and alcohol prep pads and another possible something.

Don't remove lids to ensure sterile jar environment. Use the rubber self-healing injection port to inoculate jars with a blunt or sharp style syringe. Syringe note: the rubber injection ports will initially feel a resistance to any blunt-tip style syringepush through, that's how they're designed. Store somewhere safe and keep out of direct sunlight. Normal room temperatures in fahrenheit of 71-75 degrees is ideal.

Tip: once the jar is about 20% colonized, shake the jar lightly but thoroughly enough to break up most of the bigger chunks of mycelium. This will create more points of contact for the mycelium and your grain jar will colonize much faster. Do this again at 60-70% colonization as well.
