Directions for using liquid culture solutions. Wipe all surfaces in and around your workspace with isopropyl. Keep the air as still as possible by turning off fans, heaters, and a/c units. Work in front of a laminar flow hood or inside a sab for best results. Use alcohol wipe to sterilize injection port.
If using a spore syringe, gently shake it to ensure the spores are evenly distributed in the liquid. Flame sterilize the needle and allow the needle to cool before proceeding.Insert the sterile needle into the liquid culture jar through the injection port. Be careful not to inject too much to avoid overloading the culture. Once you've injected the spore solution, carefully remove the needle from the culture jar.
It's essential to maintain a sterile environment during this step. Once growth is visible, stir or shake 1-2 times a day. Jar should be full colonized and ready for use within 7-10 days depending on genetics.
