Peptone nutrient powder is used to supercharge the growth of mycelium on agar in petri dishes or in liquid cultures. It provides essential nutrients and amino acids for rapid and healthy growth. Use at a rate of 1 gram of peptone nutrient powder per 1000ml of liquid - either in agar or liquid culture mix.

5 grams of peptone nutrient powder is enough for 5 liters of liquid culture, or 25 half pint jars or 350 petri dishes. Soy based and fully vegetarian.
