This package provides the tools you need to build your own hydroponic garden and become familiarized with the basics of hydroponics. It includes all the necessary components to create a hydroponic system with 4 growing plants per level. This unit utilizes a double end thread design, created and optimized for 3d printing. The fact that all connections are threaded makes this design a "water splash-free" system, enabling indoor use without the hassle of water mess. The anti-evaporation covers for the plant pots also minimize humidity loss from the plant pots.

Although prints will be large and time-consuming, the effort will be rewarded with a long-lasting hydroponic tower system, providing the satisfaction of growing your own vegetables. Designed to use a hose with an exterior diameter of 14mm or less. For tall towers, if concerned about the plant's weight causing collapse, this system provides the option to be secured from above using the specially designed end cover with a lifting eye bolt connection point. Utilize the special "cover washer" to strengthen this connection point.

If you choose to fully suspend your tower, this option is also available - utilize the 3d printed water reservoir. For those building suspended towers, consider the number of plants and required water quantity. Please, be realistic and limit the weight of the suspended tower. A water-tight wall penetration has been added to one of the plant pot covers, allowing the water pump cable to pass safely through. Warning: all electrical work must be performed by an authorized electrician.

Follow your country's rules and regulations regarding electrical work. Defazed system: if you prefer to arrange your plants in a defazed manner, unscrew the housing to reorient the plants.

Note that this might slightly loosen the system. To fully secure the system, use the provided defazed designs, which include 4 pots at 45-degree angles to each other. Design to print without support.

The design was optimized for a 0.4mm nozzle. Pla will not withstand the heat of direct sunlight or prolonged water exposure. Therefore, printing with abs or asa is strongly recommended. To prevent overheating, it's advisable to print with white filament (or natural color with no additives). If using asa or abs filament, printing in an enclosed space is strongly recommended to avoid warping or delamination.

Allow the part to cool down slowly before removing it from the enclosure. Clean all threads of any printing glitches before assembling. Although 220x220 might seem small, rotating and moving the part can help. Refer to the sample arrangement for a 220x220 print plate. To maintain the quality of stl files, 3d printing files are quite large.

All housing designs have an interior brim built in (0.2mm) for better adhesion to the printer build surface. If you'd like to see a print sample, take a look at a design built on a similar platform.

Refer to the 3d printer settings used. Wall thickness: 0.8mm (recommended: 1.2mm). Top/bottom thickness: 0.8mm (recommended: 1.2mm). Infill: 5% - pattern: cubic (recommended: 20%).

Bed temperature: 95c - nozzle temperature: 245c. Print surface: flexible metal sheet coated with pei. Cleaning surface: isopropyl alcohol 99.99%. Good luck and happy printing.
